Most of the veterinarians in Kosovo still need to learn about hygiene and how to work in sterile working conditions.
This photo was made in a shelter during one of our visits (pretending to be as a post operation rehab for spayed stray dogs), at a vet clinic, as a group / consortium of veterinarians, who are of course one of the winning company of the tender which aimed to implement the project “Management and control of stray dogs” – that the Food Agency and Veterinary Service (KFVA) launched and is managing.
This terrible shelter has been addressed to the competent authorities. We hope that from January 2019, we will have a concrete response on the punitive measures for this lack of responsibility by specific “professionals” veterinarians, who, apart all other wrongdoings, they are also paid from our public funds for this work.
