During the municipal emergency treatment project (capture, neuter, vaccination and release) of stray dogs in the Municipality of Prishtina, the team is doing a good and professional job in the field.
Dogs need to stay in rehabilitation for at least 72 hours after surgery (sterilization, castration) to ensure that the dogs are in good health and can be released back to the place where they were taken.
Releasing the dogs to the place where they are caught shows that the community must take care of them in any way.
Dogs treated and released on the street need our help to stay strong and healthy after surgery and return to their normal lives.
Dogs that have been released so far and need care (along with other stray dogs during pandemic times) are found at:
- City Centre
- Near the stadium of Prishtina
- Vranjefc
- Sunny Hill.
We thank all the people of good will who are mobilizing to feed the stray animals. Also, many thanks to the animal food factory, Poppins, who in addition to being contracted by the Municipality for 5 feeding points in Pristina, are donating hundreds of kilograms of food for free to activists who are feeding our community dogs, stray dogs.
