For months we as an NGO together with United for Animals – UFA have requested a meeting with officials from the Food and Veterinary Agency, as well as the Municipality of Prishtina to discuss the problems of keeping and selling illegal animals in the Kosovo car markets. But no signs of life from these institutions.
We have sent evidence (with photos) of torture and every violation that is being made against the keeping and sale of dogs and other livestock in Kosovo markets.
Here, too, this Sunday, a hungry dog, in pain and cold – tied like an object, like a puppet of entertainment. Shame on these two institutions for not taking the time to deal with this issue – because after all, people are also endangered – because they do not care about animals!
